Please see below for most recent schedule of training! Trainers - feel free to come and assist at any venue!

*Self-Assessment Survey (EBS survey): Due prior to SET - fall (Goal: November 30th)or spring, depending on when school implementation anniversary lies. Allow schools access through www.pbisapps.org. This survey is for the whole faculty to comlete. I recommend asking your LEA Coordinator or Regional Coordinator to open up the survey for a week surrounding a faculty meeting/grade-level planning meeting/etc.

  • Reuters recently did an article about Catherine Bradshaw's RCT comparing PBIS and non-PBIS schools over 4 years:

  • At the PBIS Leadership Forum in IL Cayce McCammish did a great presentation with Rob Horner, Bob Algozzine, and Scott Ross about cultural relevance, disproportionality and addressing bullying in a PBIS context. Attached is a copy. Great job Cayce!

  • Three posters were presented at the poster session. Jenn Phelps, R7, and Laura Winter, R6, did a poster about PBIS Implementation on the Bus; Cayce McCammish, R5, & Jenn Phelps, R7, presented about training LEA coaches; and Heather Reynolds, PBIS Director, shared some data about NC high schools that are implementing PBIS.   • The North Carolina Medical Journal's Sept/Oct issue is focused on the social determinants of health. This special section of the journal also includes information about the roles of education, poverty, housing, and communities in health outcomes.
